starts at police limites at hwy 14 east and goes to police limites on the other side town.speed limites vary going and coming from one side of town to the other.

Comment (6/2005): I have driven in some of the biggest cities in the U.S.A. without a speeding ticket and I got one in Autaugaville, AL. Not cheap either $172.50.

Comment (12/2005): where is the autaugaville police when we really need them?

Comment (12/2005): Autaugaville is a small town, with no red lights. Speed limits posted are 55 45 35 30 35 55 as you pass through the town of less than 1000 residents. They have several very young officers who do nothing but write traffic tickets. Sometimes as fast as they can finish one and pull over the next car. The town has fewer than seven small stores, but has a fleet of patrol cars.

Comment (3/2006): There is a class action lawsuit against Ataugaville PD for not supervising the officers
