State troopers work this area with two to six...YES SIX...units at a time on a frequent basis...They hide on the ramps and catch the speeders like flys.

Comment (4/2006): I can verify the above. Additionally, if you happen to be driving a car with Texas plates (there may be other state's), you are more susceptable to getting stopped. The state police work together with marked and unmarked cars to set you up for a stop even if you are not violating any law. typically, the unmarked car will pull in front of you and start slowing down while the state police drive along side you in the left lane in your blind spot. They will eventually stop you for following too close or improper passing if you attempt to pass the unmarked car. Of course you will be subjected to irrelevant but very personal questions. Don't expect to be treated with "good old southern hospitality" either.
