The cops will cruise the area between coffee and donuts, looking for anything over 70mph (zone is 55mph). They don't give warnings!!!!!!!!The chief won't give you any relief. Their ticket costs are among the highest in the area..... gotta pay for those donuts!!!
Comment (11/2002): A chief of police cannot give you relief for a ticket or any other violation of any state law. A law enforcement supervisor can ask an officer to reduce a charge or have a ticket withdrawn, but no disciplinary action can be taken becasue a cop does his/her job.
Comment (6/2002): Do you really expect to drive 15 miles over the speed limit and not get stopped?
Comment (6/2002): 70 in a 55 zone? what do you expect , your 15 miles over the limit.
Comment (9/2003): This is bull. I travel that stretch every day. BPD is not a speed trap. Chief has helped people with tickets they've received, too.
