Comment (6/2003): I've driven through this town many times, and they usually move their speed traps around. I just go the speed limit through here, but I've seen the traps mainly at the north end of town. The police station is on Highway 65 on the south side of the town. They used to have a dummy police car sitting at the gas station right as you leave Clinton going north, but I havne't seen it in awhile.

Comment (9/2003): yes its a speed trap they built a new jail and they need more money to pay it off

Comment (07/2007): note the jail is run by the sheriff office and the money from tickets in clinton do not go to the jail. the police dept usally gives 15 over speed limit
