The trap on Hwy 60 used to be quite notorious, when the speed limit was 55. The limit has since been raised to 65. DPS seems to have backed off a little. Still, drivers should be aware of enforcement in the area. also, I am starting to see more DPS units on SR 88 these days. It's probably the new cherry patch in AJ

Comment (11/2003): Noe that I am referring to SR 88, a state highway; a major artery through town. I agree speeds should be slow on neighborhood streets, but a road such as Idaho RD, which would easily be a 45 MPH road in Mesa or Phoenix, is posted at 35 and packed with DPS patrols
