Between Flagstaff and Kingman on I-40 State troopers usually hide behind the brushes on the median crossovers. They will often be around the Seliman area and in Williams under the bridge.

Comment (11/2006): Agree with this as i was stopped here one time going only 4 mph over the limit. trooper pulled me over really just because i was from out of state and because he just wanted to see what i was about and what was in my car. nice enough guy and only gave me a warning when he saw i was on the up and up. However, I prefer not to get stopped at all!

Comment (12/2006): in the section between Kingman and the 93 turnoff going south, I drive about 80 in the 75 mph posted zone, and have passed AHP cars with no problem. Years before, an AHP officer told me they will let you go up to 10 mph over if you are not weaving in and out of traffic
