Right in front of the hospital on San Fernando Rd. a couple of motorcycle cops make their living exploiting the unrealistic speed limit. To top it of, I've noticed that they take long breaks at a close by diner. I'm glad my mom convinced me to become a nurse instead of a cop!

Comment (10/2004): I completely AGREE! I just got a Ticket by an Officer deliberatley hiding behind some bushes and a wall pertaining to a Hotel next to Pacifica Hospital. I've known this for some time and always watch my speed especially around there. What a coincidence that today I happen to be speeding and was fortunate enough to help a police officer meet his quota. How nice of me, huh?

Comment (2/2005): Exactly. Motorcycle cops with a lot of time on their hands. The thing is that they stop people hundreds of feet before you even pass the hospital.

Awaits further North on Arleta just above Paxton, on West bound side of street. Waits for motorists to roll through stop signs on both corners. Don't see him until it's too late.
