Attention outlets shoppers. Soon after splitting to 60 from Interstate 10, there will be downhill/uphill for westbound/eastbound and then uphill/downhill for westbound/eastbound. Police cars hide around the Jack Rabbit Tail exit; they usually locates in a curve and usually where driver enters downhill. I got ticketed 8:32 PM. After I pulled off and started going uphill, I saw another (unfortunate) driver who also got speed-trapped on the other side.

Comment (3/2005): Correct! They hide out on the 2nd curve headed west on the 60 fwy, after the fruitstand on the Eastbound side. It's rare that I see them on 60 East towards the 10 after the hills, towards the fruitstand.

Comment (8/2006): I have seen them on the Eastbound, he sits up high on the onramp, so you can't see him til it's too late. I almost got nailed last year going West, but he got a Toyota that zipped by me, he ticketed her, and believe it or not, she caught up with me about 15 miles up the road! Unbelieveable!

Comment (12/2006): This is a risky area because the speed limit is 65 on the 60, after being 70 on the 10, where everyone who can is doing near 80. The downhill doesn't help. Slow down at the split and stay at or below 70!
