Hides at the end of a left hand bend, at the bottom of a moderate downhill section, sometime two or three vehicles parked there. Everything else on Kanan is posted at 40m or 45, even with business sections and cross traffic coming in and out of major parking lots. LA County Sheriffs big business money grabbing scheme.

If you're going south on Reyes Adobe from Thousand Oaks Blvd, you will see a Sherrif's partol car way down the street with a radar gun. He usually parks on the corner of Canwood and Reyes Adobe facing north towards Thousand Oaks Blvd. He is right across the street from the 76 Gas station.

There is sometimes a motorcycle sheriff, esspecially after school hours, sitting in the NW Rugs parking lot, facing east, looking at the cars traveling west. The speed limit sign is missed if you turn onto the street from the apartments; speed limit is only 35.
