There are two spots along Castle Pines Pkway. One is Just East of Monarch, at the top of the hill. a Standing DougCo Dep will get you on radar and flag you over to a waiting group of patrol cars. This is as your going East (towards I-25) at the top of the hill before you get to King Supers. (some what rare, but NO WARNINGS!) The second is on the west side of Monarch, durring school hours a DougCo Dep sits and watches the school zone. Make sure that your only go 25 when the lights are flashing. (Some what common area)
Comment (3/2006): This has to be the most blatant display/description of the term SpeedTrap. The officer hides behind the bushes in the median and jumps out as you approach, then waives you to the side street to be ticketed. Absolutely ridiculous.
Comment (3/2006): Only stop people who are speeding 10+ mph
