On Exposition Avenue one block east of the Aurora Mall, the road climbs up a bit of a hill, peaking right in between the traffic signals at Exposition & Sable and Exposition & Chambers. Traffic travelling east on Exposition here face a much steeper road grade (probably exceeding 6%) once they hit the top of that hill, and two policemen love to camp out right at the bottom of it to nail hapless drivers. Just about everyone who lives here tries to warn drivers by flashing their headlights driving the opposite direction, but this one's impossible to see until you've already been caught. We've not been caught by this trap, but have seen far too many people get nailed. Also note these cops will follow anyone in the left lane (a left-turn and straight through lane; the right lane is right-turn only) at Exposition & Chambers who doesn't have a turn signal on, even if they're driving straight. They ticket anyone who turns without a signal at this intersection. Because they always work in pairs, one can afford to abandon the speed trap long enough to ticket drivers for turn signal violations. They're a bit devious here; watch yourselves, folks!

As you drive Eastbound on Quincy, the road begins to dip before the next intersection. As the road dips, an officer sits on the side of the road, just in front of the blue Kaiser Hospital sign. He'll quickly clock you with radar, before you have any time to react, and pull you over at the next corner.

There's actually two speed traps here - one westbound, as you approach Buckley (cops sit at the top of the hill next to the daycare center) and one eastbound as you climb the hill approaching Tower (they sit behind the bushes at the entrance to the condo complex). Both traps are just outside of the School Zone, which explains the regular enforcement.
