West bound US 36 turns into North bound 28th Street at Baseline Road. The speed limit drop from 65mph to 55mph approaching Baseline Road and then down to 40mph on the curve to 28th Street. The sign is not very visible. Then it drops to 35mph! The Po Po sits on the right side of 28th Street hidden behind a sign pole as you approach Colorado Avenue. They are usually motorcycle cops with radar and lidar. Its easy pickings for the cops. These motorcycles are everywhere in Boulder, it seems, and I see them everyday.

Boulder cruiser with radar likes to park in the church parking lot beaming eastbound traffic. It's right past a wooden fence with a lot of trees so they're not easy to spot. Limit is 45 which isn't too bad, but its easy to get off US 36 and forget to slow down a little.

After you get off of US 36 and go about fourth a mile down Foothills Parkway, going North, there might be a speed trap. It is usually between noon and four that they have it up. Some times the police would rent a U-Haul van to place in front of them so you can't see the cop cars. There would also be a police officer up on the pedestrain walkway above Foothills with the radar gun. After the U-Haul there would be about three cop cars waiting to pull over people. The speed drops from 65mph on US 36 to 45mph on Foothills. A great place to catch motorists that are just coming off the highway and still doing the same speed. Very clasic speed trap!

I've seen cop cars sitting in the parking lot (maybe vetinarian's parking lot). I'm not sure if they are watching northbound and southbound 93 traffic. But watch out for them. I know the speed limit has a drastic change coming in, as well as a school nearby, so the impetus is obvious.

This is one of Boulder PD's favorite end-of-the-month fund raising spots. You pass the Pearl St. exit, crest the hill, cross the bridge, and then he/she'll be there tucked in below the bridge on your right. I believe that Foothills ridiculously drops the limit to 40mph right in there, so be prepared to crawl along.

There were two cops with motorbikes underneath the bridge on the right side pointing their speed gun. Due to the shadow, dark cloth and small profile (as compared to a car), they were very hard to see.

Cops on motorcycles hide in the parking lot of the North Boulder Center of Performing Arts (bustop) and get cars going north on Broadway. They will stop you for going eight over the limit. Watch out, Boulder has 15 motorcycle cops that are out during the day and night! This one has gotten me more than once!

As you approach the Baseline exit, about a mile before it, there is an overpass just after the parking garage on the right. Usually during the PM rush hour or late night there is a cop on the entrance ramp radaring.

Going North from Valmont on 47th st, there are Police Motorcycles in hiding lately. Also, heading South on 47th St from Iris, there has lately been a photo radar setup in the mornings. There is an abrupt change in speed limits that will make you an easy target.

An unmarked police car has been pulling people over on 19th Street in N. Boulder, just after the hill going up to the various tree-name streets (Poplar, Quince, etc.). He's a little dificult to see, as he's just over the top of the hill, but he's avoidable if you're vigilant.

Going east on Valmont, approx. 1/2 Mile after 61st Street junction, there is a farm road access where the speed trap is located. Several police cars with one officer having the (radar/laser?) measuring equipment on a stand outside a car or (another instance) having a (radar/laser) gun pointed over his patrol car into east-going traffic.

Heading west in to town, S. Boulder Rd. stops being a four lane divided hwy and drops to 35. Usually a cruiser, hides in the lots on the right side after it drops to 35 (where you\'re still not \"in town\", well before the Foothills exit).
