In a vacated parking area off Cook Hill Road (Between the vicinity of Tuttle Avenue and Route 10) Cheshire PD sits in their dark blue cruiser w/ radar. Beware while coming around corner after Wildflower Lane in all directions. Posted Speed Limit! 25 MPH

Comment (12/2003): check out talmage road infront of tree farm

Comment (12/2004): The section of Cook Hill Rd. from Sperry Rd to Route 10 receives very high attention from the CPD particularly near Elim Park Home. The limit drops to an unrealistic 25 mph which is hard to maintain unless you are consciously trying. Coming westbound, you come down a steep hill and eastbound you have a straight roadway which invites speeds above 25. Radaris a constant presence in this location.

Comment (03/2008): I just turned onto the road and was pulled over by a CPD cop who claimed he clocked me at 10mph over. He was very rude and swore at me, threw my license back at me and said I was lucky I wasn\'t getting a ticket. The only good thing was not getting a ticket.

Comment (08/2008): Fair warning to anyone driving through Cheshire, watch your speed, as the Cheshire Police are very vigilent (I know from experience!).

Mostly, but not exclusive to AM traffic. Set at 2 alternating points on both sides Sperry. A long road with (?) 2 25MPH signs on a road which should be at 35MPH. Don't know how aggressive tickets are issued, I got off with a warning and told "the residents are complaining of people driving over the limit".
