Route 244 through Eastford is very hilly, and the speed limit is a slow 35 mph. I was going about 50, and the cop was sitting at the bottom of one hill, so I could not see him until I went over the crest of the hill (going too fast). I commute from UCONN every day of the school year, but the cop was only there one of those days.
