Got the $50 ticket a few weeks later for 38 in a 25 mph zone ... 25 mph in all of DC, this has got to change. This was my second in two weeks (posted the other as well). So I came to find a site just like this. Thanks for everyone's contributions, now maybe I won't go broke paying photo fines.
Comment (12/2003): I agree. I got caught doing 62 on Route 295(a 3 lane highway!). It was a 50 mph zone, but that seems unreasonable for a major highway....no pedestrians anywhere close to the road. Got stuck with a $50 fine.
