There is a speed trap photo radar for the outbound (east bound) lanes of Michigan Avenue NE. The radar is situated between the two entrances to Trinity College, just after Franklin Street NE.

This is I-395 northbound, north of the river, heading towards Mass and New York Avenues in the section that goes underneath a lot of the city. The posted limit is 35 (!) on a six-lane divided "interstate" highway, and apparently there is a new photo radar. It may be one of their mobile units, I don't know; never saw it until a *warning* came in the mail.

BEWARE! The speed limit is 25 just before you reach the end of I-395 (going north) and approach New York Avenue. It is also there as you enter I-395 (going south) just off of New York Avenue. The speed zone is marked with white lines across the road that look like a ruler, while in this zone your speed is being tracked. If you speed, you will receive a ticket in the mail with a picture of your vehicle.
