Coming down the hill (past McKean HS), the speed limit is 35. Car will sit in obscured area off side of road and wait for you. Mostly late nights (8pm-2am), but have seen at rish hour, too, on both sides of road.

As you go east on Route 41 out of town and up the hill towards Wilmington, be very aware that the speed limit until Happy Harry's is 35 mph, Motorists are deceived by the presence of two lanes eastbound and tend to speed up - only to get pulled over by county police around mid-day near the top.

New Castle County police frequently used marked and/or unmarked cars in the affluent area between Newark and Hockessin Delaware. Usually prefer to work this stretch of North Star Rd. mid-morning and mid-week. Speed limit is 35, but I wouldn't go much above 40.

New Castle County PD will park in the driveway of the Wilmington Christian school and catch drivers as they come down the hill from Lancaster Pike heading toward Old Wilmington Rd. PD use hand held radar and strictly enforce the 25 mph limit as cars come down the hill at 45mph.
