I drive this route 2-3 times a day and it stretches from the Shell station past Bill Jarett ford to the end of the Avon Park City limits, which ends at Stryker Road & C-17. Sometimes 2-3 marked Crown Victoria's sit on the northbound side of the highway in the parking lot of the Oaks at Avon Nursing Home, or just atop the hill under the trees, and also a pitch black unmarked Crown Victoria sits just over the hill (very hard to see at night) using the KA-Band radar. Usually their is 1-2 squad cars in the southbound side beside the orange groves. Speed Limit is 45 MPH

U.S. Highway 27 just south of the grocery plaza beneath the hill. 2 cars sit on the northbound side of the highway and clock speeders and pull them over. Car #'s 11 and 22 are always in the area. Also watch out southbound.

Speed limits were receintly lowered to 45mph from 55. The Local Police Dept. is out there day and night trapping unsuspecting folks that have not noticed the new signs. With all due respect the speed limit is posted.
