Comment (3/2005): I disagree! I to live here and have just about been run over by out of towners headed to the beach. And I have personally seen devastating wrecks. If you don't wanna ticket coming through Bonifay then slow down. The beach isn't going anywhere.
Comment (9/2003): I disagree. Live here and although our police officers do catch speeding out-of-town speeders, I don't think they overdo it. This is the "country" where most roads are posted at 55 & 60...people still drive 70 & 80 from Bonifay to Panama City Beach.
Comment (1/2005): I agree.I was pulled over here a couple of years ago by cop simpley because i was driving a sports car, and i had out of state plates. He claimed i swerved.I was traveling at 30MPH. All he wanted was to search my vehicle.Beware of all cops in this town and all of Holmes county.
