This is the trap described above, but it's about 1 mile before Hypoluxo Rd., not AT Hypoluxo. FHP troopers stand on the northbound entrance ramp with lasers. There is a line of trees behind them that prevents seeing their silhouette. 4 to 6 other troopers in cars wait out of sight at the base of the ramp. They nail people who have been speeding through the construction area just south of the intersection. This is one of the best-justified traps I've seen. It's a dangerous area, heavily-travelled, and speeders get what they deserve. Fines are doubled when workers are present. NOTE: There is a FHP Camaro working this district with a low-profile light rack. It's really hard to spot as a police vehicle until is's too late.

When you drive westbound coming from I-95 towards Congress Ave, the road are going downhill and curves. As the road curves, you'll see boynton beach PD or palm beach sherrif office awaiting you with their cruiser. They opened up a high school there so speed enforcement gets even more strict.

Going westbound from I-95 on Boynton Beach Blvd approaching Congress Ave, Boynton Beach PD sits by the Blockbuster plaza and flagged speeders to pull into the parking lot and issued speeding tickets. The speed limit is 40 but you can easily going 55 and over. I've seen officers doing speed enforcement at that location on many occasions. Speeders beware!

This is the road with The Belmont Place. The officers usually have 2 or 3 motorcycles. They hide on the grass. Speed limit is 30 and it's a stretch of straight road so they have a field day.Hard to do under 45 I take the corner on to the street at 30mph. Keep your eyes open.

At the West End of the Boynton Beach Mall Police hide behind the wall and catch westbound drivers. The offenders are pulled around the (Knuth Rd) corner so oncoming traffic can't see anything. Special note: They also watch for cars making a left (not permitted, has a "no left turn sign") turn onto Old Boynton when leaving the Wal-Mart Supercenter.

The cops like to have one or two guys hideout inside of a churh parking lot just before woolbright, and thats where they gun you down, then, just after the light, there is a big residential area where the other cops come out of to pull you over. SLOW DOWN in front of the church, and you'll be fine.

I-95 north of Gateway is under construction which creates heavy congestion. Southbound traffic is frustrated and slow coming out of Lantana. Southbound construction ends at Gateway and I95 opens up to 5 glorious recently paved lanes. Everybody gets on the gas out of relief that they are out of the construction area. FHP works this area hard catching everyone as they accelerate.
