Comment (1/2006): I have been traveling thru that area for more than 30 years and have never seen a police/sp car! I figure if you are not breaking the law they won't bother you

Comment (5/2006): US 1 from the intersection with US 341 (center of town) south about 3/4 of a mile to the traffic light at the hospital is a 35 zone. There is a vacant lot in this stretch where a cop will sometimes sit, but every time I have seen a squad put out and tag someone, they were doing well over 35, a reasonable speed limit for this short section of road in the middle of town.

Comment (7/2006): I have never seen a speed trap in baxley, usually the police force is very helpful here and if you are doing the speed limit you won't have to worry about getting a ticket.
