City of Bloomingdale expanded it's city limits to include I-16 and then lowered speed limit on I-16. There are only 1 or 2 on / off ramps and is wooded area along this section of I-16. It is constantly monitored by 1-2 Bloomingdale city police with radar and lasar. If this is not a speed trap, I do not know what is.

Bloomingdale is the next city from Pooler, already listed here. There is no street safe here for even the smallest infraction. Whether on I-16 or Highway 80 or the Deloach Parkway, Bloomingdale police generate most of this tiny city's revenue by running speed traps from many hidden spots on all the roads. The judge reduces every one in rapid fire fashion to an amount that won't put points on your license but still inflicts a heavy fine, that way, nobody argues their ticket. Cash only, please, when you pay. The ATM is right over there...
