Auburn police are desparate and are out to get anyone's money so go that ridiculous 35mph on Mount Moriah, because they are watching you. (Especially if you're a teenager.)
Comment (2/2003): Auburn, GA is definitely a speed trap. Watch out Dawg fans! On a typical game day in the fall, you can be assured traveling thru Auburn on State Rd. #8, Old #29 from Dacula or from Hwy #324 from the Hog Mountain area/Hamilton Mill, they are watching you. Yes, I admit I was passing a car legally, but to do so I was speeding.I paid the fine, $205, on game day with heavy traffic.I also saw the stack ofboxes of speeding tickets to be cleared or paid. More than the population. They are living a fine life in Auburn. Watch out for the 55 to 45 change and to 35 change signs. Safe driving. 53 year old male driving a LeSabre Buick. No tickets in over 13 years. Watch out in Auburn.
Comment (3/2003): There in no place within the city limits of Auburn where one can legally pass on State Route 8.

The whole town is a trap. Especially on Georgia Football game day. Saturday will definitely pay for the entire police force's retirement fund. Watch out!More police cars than population. Reminds me of the old South Georgia speed traps of the 70's. They will get you. Slow down unless you are cash rich.
