This town has a "good ole' boys" police department. Watch it on 365 North. The posted limit is 65. These are the type who give you a ticket for having a bolt missing from your license plate!!

Notorious all over the state as a "Mayberry RFD". Officer acted geniunely excited that he was blotting my spotless driving record; almost giddy. 125.00 for (according to what he showed me) 63 in a 45. Note: they hang close to the bypass exit so they can catch you either coming off the bypass at highway speed or accelerating to enter the bypass. Pure cashbox one-horse town radar robbery.

Part-time Police running up cash coffer for city. Likes to pick on out of towners, young drivers and any car thats hot. Stopped my 17 year old in 93 F150 for 85/65. Had onboard GPS tracking unit on truck that showed 71/65. Did self survey that showed 98% of drivers stopped in 8 hour period were traveling from Atlanta to mountains. Be careful on weekends from Friday 4:00PM til Sunday evening .
