Comment (7/2005): The officer there treated me right. I didn't see the change in speed from 55 to 35 and he gave a warning. Speed trap? Nah.

Comment (5/2006): considering who the cops are in that town I'm suprised someone actually got a warning

Comment (6/2006): I don't think i would call that a speed trap. The 35 MPH zone is marked by yellow flashing lights and it does approach to the main entry point into the city from Hwy 18. Also when you consider that the town's swimming pool is on the North side of the highway and most of the town is on the South side, the speed is quite reasonable with all those kids crossing the highway. A few speeding tickets is a whole lot better than one hurt kid!
