The speed limit drops to 35 quickly when approaching Greenleaf and the Wilder Police are quite strict about the point at which it increases to 45 and ultimately 60. Don't increase your speed until you cross the railroad tracks if you are heading towards Caldwell. If heading towards Greenleaf and Wilder, don't cross the tracks going over 35. The Wilder Police use this as a nice revenue stream for a town with limited resources.
