Hiway 95 passes through the west side city limits. The speed drops from 65 to 45 then to 35MPH. The Gville city police patrol the 35MPH heavy.

Comment (6/2003): It should be noted that most tickets here are given out on weekends. It should also be noted that ALL tickets are given out without authority as the City of Grangeville has NO jurisdiction on hwy 95 to do so. Only the Idaho County Sheriff can issue citations here. Most locals know this, but travelers don't and ALWAYS pay out. FIGHT TICKETS given out by the Grangeville PD on US 95!!
