In the median of I-15 in the area on the south end of the Rest Area between MileMarkers 101 and 104 in what is locally known as "the rocks". This is a section of median with lava rocks where Idaho State Patrol can easily hide. They are especially heavy on weekends and during work commuting hours.

Comment (1/2004): I have seen the state police there on many occasions, but never busted. There is a crossover between the northbound lanes and southbound lanes where they hide. You won't see them untill it's too late.
