A will county Sherrif sits in a factory service drive hidden to east bound motorists. The car cannot be seen until it is to late.

Comment (3/2005): i live in beecher and this is so. Will county is notorious out here, when there are no locals on duty. except weekends

Comment (4/2006): local cop sits on Indiana ave just before RT.1 coming from the east /east of RT1 speed changes from 55 to 45 and then they sit 50 to 100 yards from that on the south side of road in a service drive they are waiting to pull out before you pass them.I went back and tried it again if your cruise is set and you take it off after you read the sign you still roll threw at 8 to 9 over and they write every thing.

A Beecher town officer waits in a driveway in the 45 zone. He measures the speed of an approaching car while the car is still in the 55 zone. He then stops the car and applies the speed measured in the 55 zone to the 45 zone. Of course, he claims that the speed was measured in the 45 zone.
