The officers sit in the housing project maintenance garage driveway right next to the park. 55mph speed limit quickly goes to 35.

Comment (6/2006): This is a notorious speed trap for the locals. I second and concur with this post. The only good thing is it doesn't affect folks that travel on Highway Rt 29. This trap is on the west side of Athens.

Comment (10/2006): get it right, the speed limit changes from 55 to 30, and there is plenty of room to slow down before the cops get you
