North of Fort Wayne traveling to Kendallville or Avilla, watch out for state troopers, after 10 years they have decided to strongly enforce this about 15 year old strech of highway. Sometimes they have pull over partys including about 10 state and local cars pulling people over. Beware!

Comment (7/2002): This is a 4-lane divided highway, where it might seem the speed limit should be 65... but be very careful... it's only 55!

Comment (8/2003): Yea I know they actally start a mile from State Road 205,They will fly by you and stop you at State Road 205,"But" if this happens to you do not go pass the old dirt road(just before 205)turn down it they will not follow you down there.It will bring you across StRd205 keep going on down the road and turn on the first road see on the right,It will bring you back on State Road 3,Just in Fort Wayne.Trust me they been trying to get me for years.But the same thing always happens.

Comment (9/2003): Between Kendallville and Fort Wayne on US#3 is not a good place to speed! They will allow you 5 to 7 MPH over the speed limit; anything above this you will be ticketed. Also, they have lowered the speed limit thru Huntertown to 50 MPH. Do not exceed the posted speed limit. From Kendallville to Fort Wayne the use a lot of plain wrapers.
