On the North side of town, the speed limit drops from 55 to around 35. I have seen cops patrol this area often and its strictly enforced. Butler police will wait sit and wait on the other side of the curve to pull you over. Once you see them, its too late. They do not give out very many warnings and aren't looking to make friends.

Comment (1/2005): going north on 1 heading south into butler the butler police sit on the right side of the road just past the bridge you can not see them till it is to late it goes from 45 to 35 so do the speed limit like the other post says they are not trying to make freinds you will be cited in this town
