This may be the most heavily patrolled section of interstate ever. Daily 4 - 5 patrol cars and a MC cop at any given time. They particularly like to hide under the overpasses, and on the back side of the hills between exits 8 (Hamburg) and 9 (Sellersburg) in both directions. Also they are very common on and around the overpass at Exit 6 (Clarksville), again hiding on the back side (SB) or on the NB shoulder. They are fairly tolerent of about 8mph over the limit, but dont push it.

Comment (8/2006): thanks for the compliment

Comment (11/2006): Watch out for the unmarked Ford Taurus, 1 grey and 1 marroon in color.

Comment (08/2007): I wish I had know this sooner. I felt that the officer was making comments to provoke an argument. I told him on two occasions that I was not going to argue with him. He claimed that he was following me with his light on for one mile. I find the speed trap to be an insult to the citizen\'s of the state of Indiana (I myself being a native hoosier). I will never let this happen again as long as I drive on I-65 near the bridge over the Ohio River.

Comment (06/2008): Indiana has added 18 new Mustangs to there force and they are unmarked, you will never see them. Each post has one. The gray one patrols in this area.

Comment (09/2008): I will never drive through Indiana on the way to the beach again. My experience was frightening (the police were all over the sides of the road), stressful (the officer was very confrontational), and unfair. I was staying with traffic with a car full of children. I am a safe driver, am living paycheck to paycheck, and this whole experience is just SO upsetting. Indiana should be ashamed.
