Mile marker 146constuction zones especially State Road 47 bridge, there will be one on bridge and several chase cars quite frequently. Also exit 138 Lebanon, bridge repacement, frequent stops, rear ends, State, County, and city police are there quite frequently

Comment (9/2003): I live at the SR 47 exit. It is 9-3-03 and they still patrol this area HEAVY. They Radar from the top of the bridge at the SR47 exit and they have troopers lined up on the on ramp for the South bound traffic. i have yet to see them ticketing the north bound lanes.

Comment (10/2003): I am a student at Purdue University, and travel that route often. I have seen patrol cars at both of these spots. Also, I have seen a patrol car hidden within a grove of trees that lies on a hill between the north and southbound lanes. this spot is near a truck stop.

Unmarked Camaro will be sitting on the overpass, chasers on the on ramp onto 65, opposite side of overpass blocked from vision. Speed limit drops to 55 through there.

I see alot of activity in this area. There are usually at least 1 State Trooper and 1 Sheriff Deputy in the area. Last week when I came through the Trooper was on the overpass using a laser, while 4 Sheriff Deputies were waiting on the ramp to chase you down. Came back through 30 minutes later and all 5 Police cars had someone stopped, within about 1mile of each other.
