Hiding and waiting for cars to come from N. Woodlawn into city limits.. fast drop from 55 to 40. I have recieved 2 tickets in the past 6 months here and would have got another tonight but I was very clear with the officer (said he didnt SEE me come to complete stop, didn SEE me use turn signal) then said I was swerving all over the road.. said he judged he had a drunk\ on his hands.. I am a teetotaler.. never do i drink. In fact I was so nervous about driving the 3 block stretch to my house that i was overly cautious... this is one of the most horrendous speed traps around and they recently added two new cops (should just hire meter maids).. why? Their revenue comes primarily from residential real estate so states their web site.. I challenge that statement and have reqeuested in writing the breakdown on sources of revenue for this mean little city.. % revenue generated by traffic related violations, fines etc.
