Cops sit at the stopsigns of the cross streets, waiting for you to speed by. Difficult to see them until it is too late, since there are trees and homes near the street.

Comment (6/2003): I can attest to this. I have not been "caught" on 71st, since I don't usually speed through residential areas, but I noted the same policeman sitting at about the same cross street every Wednesday btwn 4:30 and 5:00 pm. Haven't seen him for a while now, but it was a bit funny "knowing" he'd be there. Be careful, there's a bit of a downhill slope here, and if you are "coasting" it's easy for the vehicle to speed up to 35 or 40. No joke, I turn onto 71st from Buckner and set my cruise control to 30, and then watch all the suckers pass me.

Comment (9/2003): Hello Law breakers! I am the officer that sits there! Don't worry though I am mearly trying to slow traffic down thru being visible (we have had accidents from people pulling out). We give 10 over so if you stay under 40 you will be a-ok. Drive safe and remember to buckle up!
