On any given holiday the Commonwealth of Kentucky runs public service television messages, announcing its intention to crack down on speeders. Anderson County enforces rigorously. On one recent July 4th holiday weekend, the county processed over 3,200 speeding citations per the Anderson County Clerk. At times other than holidays, Anderson County also has been known to rigorously enforce on a selective basis.
