turn off comite onto petit. after the first little curve in the road , they take radar right in front of a neighborhood.

Comment (11/2004): Glad to know. I travel Petit a lot, and the 40 mph speed limit is ridiculous. If you go 40, it feels as if you're barely moving. 45 or 50 would be more appropriate.

Comment (9/2005): I have asked the state troopers and East baton rouge about the speed limit. they said that they cant raise it b/c of the livestock that they have on the road.

This has become an easy target for the local police force. They are giving tickets for not coming to a complete stop at a three way in a neighborhood and for going anywhere over 30 miles an hour. This is a common trap between 4:30pm and 6:00pm weekdays so be careful on your way home from work.
