Berwick patrol cars park with thier lights out in the crossovers.this is a stretch of road about 2 miles long,lined with trees on both sides of the highway with no lights except for those of the passing cars.the patrol cars can't be seen until you are right on top of them.

Comment (11/2005): St. Mary Parish Sheriff deputies also sit in this area at night as well as Berwick Police to enforce the speed limit between Berwick and Patterson. They sit with their lights off in the median and you don't see them until its too late.

Comment (7/2006): If you do not want a ticket then do not speed. I think this site misleads traffic violators and makes them believe that the Police are the reason for getting their ticket. Do not blame the Police, you were the one that is speeding. The reason the speen limit is 55mph is because of the many fatalities that occur at Hwy 90 and Thourguson

This speedtrap is a killer. They shooting rador from planes, Vascar, and everything else. This is on the Berwick Loop off of Hwy 90. The speed limit on the loop is way to slow for any normal human being. I think Berwick is just as bad as Patterson. Nah Beware.
