Main St is heavily patrolled by cruisers, planes, etc. There is always a heavy police presence in the area, making it impossible to drive over the speed limit.

Comment (6/2005): The reason it is heavily patrolled is because the Police Department Headquarters is RIGHT ON MAIN STREET! Also, WHAT PLANES? Bourne is lucky to have enough money to keep the streets plowed in the winter, let alone have Main Street patrolled by airplane. RIDICULOUS!

Comment (6/2005): There is no airplane enforcement on Main Street, Bourne. The police station is on Main Street.

Comment (4/2006): Ditto to the airplane Ridiculous!..Route 6/28 by-pass used to have coverage in front of the Guard Armory but funding seems to have dried up...
