Every time I drive in the evening rush hour I see 4 State Transportation Police vehicles sitting in the median near I-695 running LASER. They pull everyone over and no warnings. Heavy Enforcement watch out.

They sit on the side street and catch motorists coming down the hill. Their main purpose is to slow people down, not to meet quotas. Warnings are issued. At the very least they will knock down the speed, if you are polite and cooperative. Keep your speed down.

Every so often when I'm traveling down maiden choice from catonsville heading towards Arbutus i will run into a cop or two using handheld radar units accross from the wilkins plaza on maiden choice. The speed limit on maiden choice is 25 mph going down a pretty large hill, most people do around 35-40mph.

Going south on I-83, just south of the 695 exit, there is a trap that the police hide behind the bushes. They are almost unseen until too late. Also they sit on the oppsite side of those same bushes for people come out of the city late at night just before the 695 exit!

After passing the light at Chesaco Avenue, you enter a downgrade. As you begin to rise from the downgrade, the trap is located in a MTA parking lot on the right. The enforcment vehicles are hidden behind 'brush growth'.

Going south on 695 toward exit 42 (2nd North Point Blvd Exit, just past Cove Rd Exit) there are Transportation Police sitting just after the left hand curve that leads to the bridge over North Point Rd. (As of July, 2006 there is construction there. The trap is right as the road goes down to 2 lanes)

The radar trap is on Fork Road between Rt 165 and Rt 147 in Baltimore County. The speed limit is 35, most cars do 50 to 60 mph. The cop sits in a church parking lot with a radar gun during afternoon to evening rush hours. The road has lots of turns, so you don't see him until it's too late.

Particularly for SB traffic coming out of Baltimore City. Cops will be parked in the median around the Sulphur Spring Rd intersect. Slow down right after crossing over I-695 and try to avoid the left lane.
