I was on my way to work when I stopped at a red light. There was an MP Patrol car comming from the opposite direction. When the light turned green, I started to drive then the Patrol car did a U-Turn and pulled me over. All I can think is that somebody else tagged me while I drove by the Golf Course. I was clocked doing 55 in a 40.

Comment (3/2006): I think the MP's look for speeders because they don't have any other action. Another trap on APG is going out the 22 gate. The speed limit has been increased since they remodeled but the MP's will stand outside the shacks and get you with radar.

Comment (5/2005): As an M.P. from Aberdeen all I can say is......GOT YA

Comment (10/2005): It is a wonder the MP's can clock anyone as fast as they drive on APG.

Comment (4/2006): I agree, I work on APG. They also sit behind the station back on your way to ARL and ATC.

Comment (4/2006): That area is clearly posted 45 mph and you should obey the posted speed limit. You should have expected extra police in front of an access point to a federal military installation. BTW, it's Aberdeen Proving Ground, not Grounds.

Comment (7/2006): This post is swarming with Revenue Enhancement Officers (REO's). They have nothing better to do all day so they hassle people going back and forth to work. The post commander knows he's got a real cash cow and he needs the funds. They can't even pay to cut the grass on post anymore and they're they're threatening to turn off a/c and lights in work areas. Traps are eveywhere and it's a statistical certainty that if you drive on this post long enough you will eventually pay the "tax".
