One or multiple state police cruiser sit at the bottom of the hill you go up just after passing the Severna Park Golf Center, after College Parkway. The officers use handheld devices from the road shoulder and wave vehicles over. Pretty much every few weekdays after 8 am until noonish. The officers cars are usually parked just before Joyce Lane, across from the Arnold Garden Center.
