Be Very Careful on this stretch through Franklin County. The Wilton Road is the most common road to get a ticket from Farmington PD. They enforce heavily and you can also see the State Police and Sheriff's Department patrolling the area as well.
Comment (3/2006): Yes; this road is really bad at times... I see police patrolling this road to the point that your'e paying attention to your speedometer more than to traffic, quite dangerous..
Comment (5/2005): Yah! Hope they keep it up!
Comment (3/2006): Farmington PD has helped bring the average speed of this road from 55 mph down to 45 mph which is a lot closer to the posted speed limit of 40 mph. Keep it up.
Comment (5/2006): I come back to Farmington from down in Boston and I see more police patrolling then I do in the CITY! Send some of these officers down to where police are actually NEEDED! It's rediculous...
Comment (10/2006): If you don't like the way Farmington Police patrols you should stay in Boston.
