Caribou cops sit here and run radar all the time. Sometimes they have two officers about three miles apart running radar. They are really stict and will stop you at 5 over the limit. There is a billboard and they hid behind it. It is designed so they can use their radar and you cannot see their patrol car until it is to late. Watch out, state police also hides there when local cops are not around.
Comment (3/2006): Billboards are illegal in Maine aren't they?
Comment (10/2006): 5 over, give me a break, if you get a ticket for 5 over you should be in court contesting it. If you got stopped sounds like you might not have been paying attention to the posted speed limit where you were driving.
