The local police have tamed down in recent years, but lately I have noticed they like to sit on top of the hill at the beginning of the 25 mph zone, coming from the 45mph zone when northbound. There are a dozen good spots in this area where you will NOT see them until it's too late. Be forewarned, this 25mph zone is a ticket haven. I was pulled over here 3 times in one week for the same headlight out by the same officer.

Comment (6/2003): My dad was stopped about three years ago in this very spot. He fought the ticket, and as a result lost his license to operate a vehicle in Maine. Perhaps it was because he is from out of state (N.B. Canada)!

Comment (3/2004): you still need to drag your feet in ft fairfield, like, what else have they got to do up there?
