They hide out behind the bridge's pillars on either side of the expressway. East and West bound traffic is monitored. They back up just enough so you can't see there car unless you know to look for it. I always start watching for them about a mile before I get to the bridge. I have saved myself many a speed tickets that way. Just remember to keep your eyes peeled to that bridge!

The speed limit goes from 45 to 30, going southbound on Belleville Rd from I-94. Several Van Buren Township Police units are stationed on a regular basis near the Van Buren Plaza shopping center. On most days, there are at least two units and at times there are as many as five. One officer stands with the handheld laser unit calling them out to the others.

At any given time of the day you will find 1-2 van buren police units stationed at the Mobile gas station on West side of Haggerty, north side of service drive near I-94. They usually hang out inside of the gas station, but they might nab you on their way in, or way out.

There's an abandoned driveway in a wooded section on the North side of the road where a police car tucks itself, well hidden from view. You can't see it until you're even with it. I use my cruise control there all the time now.
