This is a small town which US-127 runs right through. Speed limit drops from 55 to 40, then to 35, back up to 40, then back to 55. Addison has no local police, but the Lenawee County Sherriff patrols this town very often, and always catches speeders because no one really slows down through the town.

Comment (4/2004): Speed trap is correct, Sheriff's Dept. will sit and hide in the parking lot next to the "Pot Belly Resturant", invisible till to late coming from the north and to late rounding the 35 mph. corner coming into town from the south. Also have seen them sitting in a office lot, east side, on the north end of this small town, just as the speed limit drops from 55 to 40.
