Cops are always patrolling highway 95 inside and right outside of Bayport. Mostly looking for the shift changes at the Anderson Windows plant when people are on there way to and from work.

Comment (3/2005): Also, they park their cars along side the road along 95, at night, no lights on...just waiting. Isn't that entrapment?

Comment (6/2004): Highway 95 through Bayport is a notorious speed trap among residents given that the 10+ cops in the town have to find something to occupy their time.

Comment (4/2005): no, it's not entrapment. how does a cop having his lights off affect how much pressure you apply to the gas peddle?? I applaud there efforts in slowing down speeders, people have gotten out of hand in the st.croix valley and need to slow down. as for the 10+ cops, wrong!, they only have 9 (4 full time, 4 part time & 1 chief). you are correct about the need for occuping their time however.

Constantly seeing Bayport cops running radar and pulling people over in this area. One cop I've seen more than others appears to be related to Uncle Fester. Speed limit is 30, but it's easy to keep coasting as the speed drops from a 50 to a 30. Watch out!
