Big Lake Police officers sit on both sides of the highway, usually on parallel frontage roads or access roads and run mostly laser. The speeders are frequent, and most cars are easily 10-15mph over limit. Slow Down. Lots of accidents in area due to poorly marked crossing intersections.

Comment (8/2005): It is true...Cops obviously do not believe in the statement 'probable cause'...they use their authority to take advantage of people by using and making up supposed traffic violations, but backing off the meth dealers, pedophiles, and rapists. Their behavior will reform...right?

Comment (11/2004): well they dont only sit on highway 10 they sit on every road in Big Lake Minnesota looking for any and every reason to pull you over and if they dont have a reason they trump one up on you just to get to give you a ticket and then when you try to fight the ticket they lie in court. they do have a system going here in Big Lake

Comment (5/2005): yeah, like we got nothing better to do than perjur ourselves on the stand and risk losing our jobs, just to win your $110 traffic citation, of which about $30 comes back to our police department. Get real and start taking some personal responsibility for your own actions instead of blaming the police.
